Fall 2022 Registration is Open

Eligible Students: Grades 3rd-8th

Registration is Open from Sept. 1- Sept. 30.
Late registration begins Oct. 1- Oct. 5.
Basketball registration will close on Oct. 5 and no late registrations will be allowed due to team tryouts and uniform orders.

Girls Basketball: SJS girl’s basketball are getting new uniforms. We will place the orders based on registration size requests. It will be important that you order the size that will fit your daughter, size swaps will not be available this year. You must order the uniform in a set. We cannot do a different size jersey and shorts. Jersey samples will be in the office 2nd week of September after school if you would like to try out the new uniforms and sizes before registering.

Try-outs: Everyone makes a team at SJS. Tryouts are only used in situations where a grade level has enough registrants that requires them to break into two teams. Try-outs for those teams will be 2nd week in October. You will need to watch your email closely for those dates and whether or not your child’s grade requires a try-out. Athletes are broken up into an A and B team depending on their skill level.

Volunteers: Parents/guardians will be required to do mandatory volunteer hours at games and within the team. No team can begin practicing until they have 2 volunteer coaches in place. Each home game requires a scoreboard keeper, a book keeper, and an admission worker. Your coach will randomly assign you to these sports once game schedules are loaded on team snap. Each team is also responsible for contributing a team basket to Spring Fling in February. The athletic director will be asking for each teams’ parent basket organizer at the beginning of the season!
